Emily Wolter is a painter and surface designer based in the Los Angeles area. A recent graduate of the textiles program at Rhode Island School of Design, she combines her love for hand painted and hand drawn imagery with digital techniques to create rich textures and layered patterns. A combination of painting, drawing and creating textile designs, digital textile printing opens up a world of opportunity for her. She is also very interested in bead embellishment and embroidery, and combines digital print imagery with traditional embellishment techniques for both apparel applications and one of a kind pieces. Her experience with digital techniques brings her to the world of CADFab where she hopes to bring her beautiful paintings and designs to life by printing on fabric.
